MISSION
The
Pipeline Fellowship trains women philanthropists to become angel investors through education, mentoring, and practice.  Fellows commit to invest in a woman-led for-profit social venture in exchange for equity and a board seat.

Natalia Oberti Noguera

Natalia (aka Ms. Oberti Noguera) launched the Pipeline Fellowshipan angel investing bootcamp for women philanthropists, to increase diversity in the U.S angel investing community and create capital for women social entrepreneurs.  Natalia holds a BA in Comparative Literature & Economics from Yale.  She has been featured in Bloomberg Businessweek, Dowser, Forbes CSR Blog, ForbesWoman, Mashable, New Prosperity, Reuters Money, TechCrunch, and The New York Times.  Natalia was named to the Forbes list “Top 20 Women for Entrepreneurs to Follow on Twitter” and was selected as a Readers’ Pick for HuffPost Tech’s “27 Women in Tech You Need to Follow on Twitter."  Women's eNews recognized her as a 21 Leaders for the 21st Century for 2012.  You can find Natalia on Twitter (@nakisnakis).

A. Lauren Abele
COO, Pipeline Fellowship

Prior to the Pipeline Fellowship, Lauren worked in the nonprofit sector in economic development, environmental issues, and women’s empowerment. A long-time sustainability advocate, Lauren has analyzed the Kyoto Protocol with the U.S. Department of State in Brussels and worked on environmental projects in both Spain and Australia. Her interest in social and environmental issues led to her involvement in social entrepreneurship where her focus has been on strategic planning, social impact assessment, and executing mission-based business strategies.

She currently serves on the New York Women Social Entrepreneurs (NYWSE) Events Committee and is a former Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of New York City (YNPN-NYC) board member.


Lauren has a B.A. in English Literature and Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.P.A. in Economic Development and Comparative & International Affairs from Indiana University’s School for Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA).
